The news shows Americans want to get out of the war. A JL Partners poll conducted from March 18–20, 2026, surveyed 1,037 registered voters and revealed significant public opposition to the Iran war and growing economic concerns. The Poll found Trump’s approval rating has fallen to 42%, the lowest of his term. This is down from 48% in late January and 44% in early March. Only 33% support the Israel and Trump war. 48% believe striking Iran was the wrong decision, while far fewer 36% say it was right.
