One of the positive news from revival that brings God’s favor are news reports show Federal appeals courts have ruled that certain undocumented immigrants can be detained without bond hearings, marking a significant shift in U.S. immigration enforcement.  The Fifth and Eighth Circuit Courts of Appeals upheld the Trump administration’s policy of mandatory detention without bond for noncitizens who entered the U.S. unlawfully, even if they have lived in the country for years and have no criminal record. 

Key Points on the Court Ruling Allowing Detention of Undocumented Immigrants Without Bond: 

1. Appellate Courts Upheld Mandatory Detention: The Fifth and Eighth Circuit Courts of Appeals ruled that noncitizens who entered the U.S. without inspection—regardless of how long they’ve lived in the country—are classified as “applicants for admission” and subject to mandatory detention under 8 U.S.C. § 1225(b)(2)(A), with no right to bond hearings. 
2. Broad Interpretation of “Seeking Admission”: The courts equated “applicant for admission” with “seeking admission,” meaning even long-term residents who never formally applied for entry are deemed to be seeking admission, thus falling under mandatory detention rules.
